BIG CHANGES:
Two of Poetry Exchange's activities are moving to new locations. - The discussions of poetry books, formerly held at Borders North on the fourth Wednesday of each month, will be held at Coffee Tree Roasters on Walnut Street in Pittsburgh's Shadyside on Aug 25, Sept 22, and Nov 25, 2009. Times remain the same. See our Workshops page for details, including the poetry books to be discussed.
- Poetry Exchange's open poetry workshop, at which poets read their own poems and the group responds to them, held on the first Monday of each month, will meet at Border's Eastside, 5986 Penn Circle South, East Liberty, starting in November. Note the change in time: the workshop will take place at 7 p.m and run until 9 or possibly 9:30. Border's is handicap accessible, there is ample parking, and it is close to bus routes. There is a coffee shop in the store. See Workshops page for details.
We thank Ed and Chang-Ae Gelblum of City Books for their years of hospitality to the workshop.
