FLASH: We have a new home for our PPE open workshop on the first Monday of each month. Starting June 2012, the workshop will meet at the Brentwood Public Library, 3501 Brownsville Road, from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Open to all. We ask a $2 donation to the library. Pittsburgh Poetry Exchange holds a poetry workshop, open to all, on the first Monday of each month. The workshop meets at Panera Bread, 5430 Centre Avenue, from 6:30 to 9:00 p.m. There is no charge for the workshop. See Workshops page for details.On the fourth Wednesday of each month, PPE holds a discussion of a poetry book chosen by a member, at Coffee Tree Roasters on Walnut Street in Pittsburgh's Shadyside. Pittsburgh Poetry Exchange
was founded in 1974 as a community-based organization of local poets.
We are a service organization and an information exchange, and we promote
poets and poetry.
Pittsburgh Poetry Exchange conducts
ongoing workshop and discussions. We have a special interest in supporting all area poetry
activities.
